COVID-19 and FOCUS Missions: November 2020
As we look forward to the upcoming mission seasons, we recognize the needs in our communities during the continued challenge of COVID-19. Now more than ever, there is a great need to serve the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, and to do so in a way that upholds the safety and health of our communities.
The first priority of FOCUS Missions is always the safety of our participants, staff, and the people we serve on mission. In light of continued changes from COVID-19, we are moving forward with a smaller-scale Spring Break season, focusing our efforts on communities within the continental United States. Please be aware that all mission trips will operate within COVID guidelines and are subject to change based on these restrictions for the next few months.
FOCUS Missions is looking ahead to the Summer 2021 mission season with domestic and international locations, considering further developments with COVID medical interventions as well as other projections from security consultants. FOCUS Missions also strongly recommends the purchase of extra insurance for all our participants to cover any cancellations that may arise from situations outside of our control. For more details, please see our Insuring Your Trip page.
We welcome your questions and ask for patience with so many unknowns still in the picture. We will continue to monitor developments in the coming months and make adjustments as necessary. Please know that we are working hard to assist you in mission this upcoming year, and we ask you to join us in praying for all those affected by COVID-19.
