FOCUS Collective

Who we are

The FOCUS Collective began in 2010 as a worship team of missionaries serving at FOCUS events. Since then, the Lord has brought together a diverse mixture of musicians from both within and outside of FOCUS. Though we serve together, we are a collective because each of us is pursuing our individual callings to serve God in music through various avenues.

The FOCUS Collective logo is a sketch of a stained glass window, which represents the many different parts and facets of the Body of Christ coming together, reflecting the light of Christ in unique but unified ways.

This ministry of music is connected to our work with “A Beauty Initiative within FOCUS,” which is exploring ways to evangelize through the power of beauty.

“FOCUS Collective is bursting with talented musicians and singers but, more importantly, with authentic piety and devotion. During our Mount 2000 retreat for high school students, they kept the retreatants engaged with upbeat songs during concert time and they also helped the teens maintain a spirit of prayer during the Sacred Liturgy. They are easy to work with, show great reverence for the Blessed Sacrament and know how to use music to encounter God.”
Msgr. Andrew Baker, Rector of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, Maryland
